Fairs are Reopening !
With the prospect of coming out of lockdown ahead, I am delighted to be able to start selling at craft fairs again. It has been a long, cold winter and there are still difficult days ahead, but it is great to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will be selling my work at the following fairs in April and will announce further dates soon. Chiswick House Saturday 17th April 10 - 4 Gunnersbury Park Saturday 24th April 10 - 4 These are both run by Duck Pond Markets and are fantastic local fairs with amazing food and artisan stalls. BEAT 2021 The good news is that BEAT will hopefully be going ahead this year and will take place during the middle two weeks of September. More details to follow! Delighted to be able to announce that both Chiswick House and Gunnersbury Duck Pond Markets are scheduled to go ahead and I will be selling my pots at both of these events. Duck Pond Markets always feature a great range of beautiful, locally made products and fantastic food stalls. They are always worth a visit, especially if you are looking for something extra special.
These will be the last fairs I am able to do this year but I can still sell from home and can be contacted through the website. The details of the fairs are as follows: Chiswick House. Saturday 5th December from 10 to 3.30pm. Off the A4 just after the Hogarth Roundabout, Sign posted directions to the car park and there is some limited street parking by the other gates to the park. Gunnersbury Park. Saturday 12th December 10 to 3,30pm Off Popes Lane W5. Good car parking available and an easy walk from Acton Town Station and it is also on the E3 bus route. Sadly, Gunnersbury Market will not be happening this weekend 14th November due to the latest restrictions. We are hoping that December's events in Chiswick House and Gunnersbury will go ahead and I will update the blog with details when I know.
In the meantime, I am in the process of setting up an online shop and, although it is not quite there yet, you can still contact me through the website and I will be happy to deal with any questions you may have or purchases you may wish to make. Gunnersbury Park Duck Pond Market dates.
It is hard to believe that summer is over and we are heading towards winter once again. Autumn is such a beautiful time and it is sad this year that so many events have had to be cancelled due to Covid 19. However, Gunnersbury Duck Pond Markets are still going ahead and I will be having my pots at the fair on the following Saturdays; 10 October 2020 14 November 2020 12 December 2020 The stalls are located near the main entrance, outside the museum where there are play areas and other facilities. The market runs from 10 until 4pm and it is a really lovely fair with plenty of interesting stalls and great food. The park itself is a joy and the forecast for the weekend is good so get those wellies on and come and join us all! Keep safe and well everybody Love Maria We are living in such strange times and I hope that all of you are keeping well and safe in these difficult days. So many events and fairs have been cancelled but now that life is gradually getting back to a new normal, some markets are starting up again. I will be joining Duck Pond Markets in a new event in Gunnersbury Park Ealing W5 on Saturday 22nd August and Saturday 12th September from 10 to 3pm. Thers is paid parking in the park and some free parking in the roads around the area. It is a brave new venture and it would be lovely to see dome familiar faces there!
Beat 2020 is different this year due to Covid restrictions so the artists have been invited to submit two pieces of work into an online auction which will take place over the weekends of the 5th and 6th and 12th and 13th of September. Full details are available on the BEAT website. I am submitting two large handled stoneware platters as shown below. |
